		<description>Salaam,

Thanks for the nice comments! In regards to the question about length:

We have 3 main lengths of tops:

1. Shorter length - just past hips
2. Medium length - to mid-thigh
3. Longer length - to knees

We have only produced a handful of designs of the shorter length, and these were not that popular with customers and we won&#039;t be doing many like this.
As for the medium length items, like the cotton work shirt, we will be producing more of them, inshallah.

It may be possible to shorten some of our tops, if one has access to a decent tailor. The French cuffed tunic or Tunic Shirt with Pockets can be amended, for example.

I hope that helps!

		<description>assalamualikum,

luv the fabrics you carry and the post is quite informative. but my question is about the length of shukr tops. before there was a variety in lengths but lately i&#039;ve noticed you only carry really long tops. is it a trend that will continue or is it just for this season? i prefer shorter tops, that cover my back but are not knee length.

jzk for the store, the service, and the blog.

		<description>Salaam Asif,

We have two shops in Syria. We have a new retail shop in the Midan section of Damascus. It is located next to al Hasan Mosque. The phone number is 00 963 11 881 9085. It is open Saturday to Thursday, from 11 am to 9 pm. We also have an outlet in Rukn al Din where we sell discontinued and imperfect items at a discounted price.

SHUKR
(shopping complex next to Abu Nur Institute)
Rukn al-Din, Damascus
Tel: 275 5103.

Regular prices in the shop are slightly cheaper than regular prices on the UK website. However, sale items in Syria may be different from sale items in the UK, meaning that sometimes one may find items in the UK to be cheaper than Syria, and vice versa.

Men&#039;s clothing is very limited in the Damascus shop. Only a few styles are stocked, and only in a few colors.

I hope this helps!</description>

		<description>Assalamu Alaikum,

I was wondering how i could arrange a visit to where the clothes are made in Damascus.

And,

What are the prices like in the Shukr shop in Damascus. Are they cheaper than the Shukr prices in England?

Also, i take a larger size in mens clothing and i prefer the colour as many do....black always sells out first. Would i be able to find more choice if i bough clothes from Shukr in Damascus?

Wasalam,

		<description>Hi Bobby,

Thanks for your comments. Yes, I agree. It&#039;s nearly impossible to design a collection of clothing that will fit everyone perfectly. A good tailor is indispensible in looking one&#039;s best. Hope to hear more from you!
