I do apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced.

As previously stated, in the Contest Rules (http://www.shukronline.com/contestrules.html) it clearly indicates that we reserve the right to change the contest should circumstances warrant: “…the Judges reserve the right to terminate the Contest and determine a winner using all eligible entries received as of the date of termination or to modify the Contest in a manner deemed appropriate by the Judges.” It also states that “no information regarding entries or judging, other than already set forth in the Official Rules, will be disclosed. Sponsor reserves the right to make determinations of suitability in its sole and absolute discretion, and to disqualify any entries it determines to be inappropriate for any of the reasons listed above, or for any other reason.” All those who entered, by entering alone, gave their consent to be bound by these rules. We were happy to choose the winner, and unfortunately, our judges were unable to select the four runners-up due to various circumstances. The only prize offered for such runners-up would have been to be featured on our blog, as no material gain was ever offered. We have indeed paid out the prize as promised, and you are free to contact the prize winner on YouTube to verify this, should you wish, but it is at their sole discretion whether or not to address your concerns. Furthermore, we went above and beyond the Contest Rules in that we gave out 20% off coupons to all entrants, just for their participation–a benefit not indicated in the Contest Rules.

Again, we are very sorry that you feel so upset about the results, but we hope you continue to make beautiful films for the sake of Allah and for the purpose of da’wah. Thank you for your feedback. Jazakallah khair.

Thanks for your interest in our competition! Unfortunately, our judges were unable to select runners-up. We received many beautiful and inspiring entries, but due to extenuating circumstances the judges were obliged to alter the contest. This is in line with the contest rules. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused anyone and look forward to seeing these filmmakers create more inspiring videos.
